I've decided I want to keep a local copy of all my notes. Control your data and all that.

My iPad Air died a few months ago after many years of service, so I bought a secondhand Pixel Tablet. My god this thing is astonishingly bad, especially to type on - the keyboard is horrendous. Oh, and the fingerprint reader is in no man's land on the side of the device.

Really, really shit.

It came with the speaker dock, so I'm just gonna use it docked in the kitchen. Can anyone recommend a decent #Android tablet at around 7"?

When a Tool Becomes a Hobby

Joel reflects on how practical tools can slowly turn into hobbies, using watches, razors, and pens to show how function often gives way to fascination. I can relate!
